Working for you

I grew up in Oak Harbor, OH, attending public school and participating in many after school activities, visiting local parks, stores and the library.  My primary method of travel while living there was walking and biking. It was a liberating time to be able to travel from 5 years old onward by myself and friends, walking to school in the morning to biking around town to the swimming pools, or even getting candy at the five and dime.

I graduated from the University of Dayton with a mechanical engineering degree and after moving to Columbus, started my career in building design.  I subsequently moved to Upper Arlington for a year, before I settled in Worthington.

Living in such inviting and connected neighborhoods with many opportunities to participate and learn is essential to having a high quality of life. I would like to use my knowledge and experience to enhance and continue to develop Worthington's high quality of life.

Focusing on Vision Worthington principles, I want to provide collaborative, forward thinking leadership, to create a more diverse, equitable, and connected community, dedicated to the vibrancy of downtown, that offers a high quality of life in a sustainable manner, with an economy that is balanced and resilient. I’ll work with all community members to provide more housing and transportation options throughout Worthington and grow and bring in new businesses to expand our tax base and allow for more investments in our shared infrastructure and community events.

Working to fulfill Vision Worthington

I am a licensed mechanical engineer specializing in sustainable building design, developing ways to construct more resilient and environmentally friendly neighborhoods.

I am and have been an active member of many Worthington organizations, striving to fulfill Vision Worthington and would like to return as a Councilmember to continue this work.
